alpha header Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over six weekly sessions.

What happens at Alpha?

Dinner: There is a meal together at the beginning of each evening, which gives people a chance to get to know each other.

Talk: Each talk focuses on a key issue relating to the Christian faith and is delivered by an experienced and down-to-earth speaker.

Small Groups: After each talk, we divide into small groups to discuss the topic for the evening. Small groups are the place where you can ask whatever questions you wish - no question is considered too simple!

What topics are covered?

Does God exist?
Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus die?
How can I be sure of my faith?
Why and how should I read the Bible?
Why and how should I pray?

The Alpha course usually runs at Highgrove every Autumn.
