Our five homegroups offer a valuable opportunity for fellowship, worship, teaching and sharing together and are considered a vital building block of church life.
What our homegroups are about…
- Commitment: Homegroups are a way of expressing commitment to church and a way of church expressing commitment to you.
- Care: Homegroups are the first line of pastoral care and support within the church.
- Friendship: Homegroups provide an opportunity to build friendships that are far deeper than any that can be built just on a Sunday morning.
- Gifting: Homegroup is a place where gifts can be recognised, encouraged and practised.
- Bible study: Homegroup provides an opportunity to share in deeper Bible study and to ask questions.
- Growth: Those in Homegroups seem to grow more in the Christian faith. Everything in the homegroup environment is geared toward this.
- Leadership: Homegroups are a place where leadership potential is noticed and encouraged.
- Flexibility: Homegroups allow a ‘change of plan’ that is more difficult in a larger meeting. The elements of a homegroup can be shifted around or postponed easily, if necessary.
Each homegroup takes it in turns to ‘host’ a Sunday morning. This includes setting up the church, serving refreshments, welcoming guests and clearing away again afterwards. It’s a great opportunity for everyone to get stuck into making church happen!
Our homegroups meet on the following evenings starting at 8pm:
| Homegroup | Night |
