Homegroups are the building blocks of the whole of church life, and there are small groups in many parts of the city. Access to small groups is through congregations, and particularly the newcomers events.
Most homegroups meet weekly, key days being Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, although groups do meet at other times. There are specific groups for students, and a cross-congregational Friday morning group solely for women that also has a creche.
